Day 9 of Blog Flash 2012 Challenge

#BlogFlash2012: Day Nine – Journey

Journey…the band?  Awesome…love them.  Well from the picture I see we’re talking about a road trip instead of the popular 80’s band.

Writing is a journey…a wild, crazy, emotional roller coaster of a journey. They (they being published writers) say that it’s worth it and to keep writing to never give up.  Warning this journey comes with NO map…sorry even the latest GPS system won’t be able to get you there.  The road is bumpy, many twists, turns and road blocks along the way so be sure to BUCKLE UP and don’t forget NO drinking and writing (you might spill it on your keyboard or paper)

I suggest you don’t take this journey alone.  Make it a road trip you’ll never forget…take your best writing buddies along with you. When you travel with friends the trip is so much easier and a lot more fun.  My writing buds and I are having a BLAST.  We’ve got a long way to go but we’re on our way.  Tina,Staci and Rhonda you girls are the BEST!!

Don’t Stop Believing!!

About Joy Keeney

I love the feeling I get when I put my pencil to the paper to write. I love the sound of the lead as it glides from the tip of the pencil onto the paper below. I'm scared to death of failure....also have a fear of actually succeeding. What a combo....I'm working on them both. I will only fail if I STOP writing! It's okay for me to write something that others will like. I've started to enjoy waiting for the reaction of the person reading my work. If they get goose bumps or reach for a tissue I know I'm on the right track!

  1. Thank you so much for sharing this, Joy! It is a long road – very bumpy, very uncertain – but the destination is worth it!
